My team would like to nominate Neak Preah Phirum Pheasa Ou also known as Krom Ngoy for the Nobel Prize for Literature. He was a great writer of poems and teaching about way of life from the day you born till the day you die including your wedding day, your life at school and life on farms. Everyone is inspired by his poems.
His vision is to teach Cambodian youth about the traditions while we were in the French Colonial period. He tried to save the Cambodian Tradition from losing. His poems are meaningful and motivative. His amazing poems are Chbab Chun Bros Srey, Bondam Krom Ngoy, Chbab Ke Kal Tmey, Chbab Lberk Tmey and many more.
He deserved to be awarded the Nobel Prize because his poems taught not only children but also adult around the world only if they understood khmer. My own opinion if one day people started to make a translation of his inspiring poems, maybe there will more educated people.
