The person I admire the most

Abraham Lincoln

Abraham Lincoln was born in Kentucky, the United States of America on February, 12 of 1809. His dad was Thomas Lincoln and his mom was Nancy. Abraham Lincoln was the 16th president of the United States. He was a politician and a lawyer before he become the President. He was married to a girl named Mary Todd and he had four children.

Abraham Lincoln became the president in 1861. He got a lot of votes from people who lived in the northern part of the US. In 1863, Lincoln abolished slavery, which was very famous at that time. Slavery was a cruel way to treat people. There's a lot of people who were slaves and were treated in a very cruel way. Lincoln also led the United States to the famous war in the American history, the Civil War. This war was fought by two sides, the Northern USA and the Southern USA. Lincoln led the Northern USA who was against slavery while the Southern USA supported slavery. Lincoln finally won the war and he abolished slavery in 1863. This was a very huge and important achievement for him. He was loved by people from the Northern USA but somehow he was assassinated in 1865, four years after he became the president. He was assassinated by someone from the Southern USA, who hated him. He died in his, the White House.

I admire Abraham Lincoln because he had got rid of slavery in the USA. He did the right thing to save his own people from slavery or even the whole world. He showed the people that slavery was so cruel that it must be stopped. He risked his life to fight in the famous Civil War in order to stop slavery. The most special thing about Lincoln is he abolished slavery, even though slavery was very famous in that time even if it's cruel. Slavery is a very cruel way to treat people and Lincoln did his best to put an end to slavery. Because of his heroic  action, people of the United States of America had carved his face on Mount Rushmore, in order to make the people of the United States remember him from generations from generations.
